Its good to be back and to give back!

Thank you to everyone that joined us for our Sharing Stories: Unlocking local stories + creativity event. It was so great to be back amongst that positive Urbanistas’ energy. A massive thank you to our wonderful speakers - Cara O’Dowd, Liane Rossler and Emilya Colliver for sharing their stories and amazing projects. We greatly appreciate your support and generosity.

Of course one of the core philosophies of Urbanistas is to create positive change in our communities. Through this event, we were able to support Addi Road Food Pantry with a donation of $160.00. This is a great local organisation that is diverting more than 6 tonnes of food from going to landfill and provide food to more than 8,000 people every week through the Food Pantries in Marrickville and Camperdown and the Addi Road Food Relief Hub. If you would like to support Addi Road Food Pantry with a donation, your volunteer time or just to check out what other great stuff they are doing, go to addiroad.org.au/the-food-pantry/

We are so excited to be back and can’t wait for 2022 were we can once again meet in person and be able to share more great stories from the inspiring Urbanistas across Sydney. If you know of any one with an interesting story to tell, then drop us a line at sydurbanistas@gmail.com - we love to be connected to women just going about their days contributing to their community. To stay up to date with all the Urbanistas’ upcoming events and news, leave you email address below so you don’t miss a thing.
